Ice sculptures shimmered under the winter sky as St. Clair residents and visitors enjoyed the annual Icy Bazaar this past weekend. While the town itself was relatively quiet, the Icy Bazaar and Friday night’s fireworks display provided a festive atmosphere and plenty of entertainment.
St. Clair’s Icy Bazaar
The St. Clair Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual “Icy Bazaar” over the weekend. This popular event featured live ice carving demonstrations, a black light party at War Water Brewery, face painting, kids’ crafts, circus acts, a speed carving contest, live music, and a DJ. The Icy Bazaar took place at various locations throughout the town, including Riverview Plaza and Coughlin Jewelers.
Fireworks!
As part of the Icy Bazaar, a fireworks display lit up the winter sky on Friday evening. The fireworks were launched at 7:45 PM and could be viewed from Riverview Plaza Courtyard, the Riverview Plaza parking lots, and the south end of Palmer Park.
Live Music at the Murphy Inn
The Murphy Inn hosted live music on Saturday night. This popular local venue often features the best local bands.
